World Interventional Radiology Day | January 16

To celebrate World Interventional Radiology Day, the Portuguese Association of Interventional Radiology (APRI) originally released a short video in Portuguese explaining, in a simple and accessible way, what Interventional Radiology is, what we do, and why it matters for patients.
The response exceeded our expectations — with strong engagement and multiple requests to share the content beyond our national borders.

For that reason, we are now pleased to share an international version of the video, with English subtitles, so that this message can reach a wider global audience.
Interventional Radiology is about innovation, minimally invasive treatments, and patient-centered care — and raising awareness is essential to ensure that patients, colleagues, and decision-makers understand its value.
